Enable Collaboration Launch Pad for Instant Messaging and Application / Desktop Sharing

This Post describes the how to enable Collaboration Launch Pad

By enabling Collaboration Launch Pad we can send Instant Message to logged in user on portal even we can share the application/desktop too.

Below are the steps for enabling Collaboration Launch pad.

1. Go to System Administration -> System Configuration-> Collaboration
2. Now select Real Time Collaboration as shown in below picture.

    


3. Now select Application Sharing

    

4. Now enter the attribute values as shown in below picture ( Portal ServerName and ServerPort ) values. 

5. Save the changes and open the new Session or refresh open session ,

    Now we can see the Collaboration Launch Pad is coming in Portal Tool Are

   

          Once added user is available we can send message or can do desktop sharing.
