The System Administration workset provides administrators with tools to configure, maintain, and support the portal, its services, and system landscape.

This topic does not describe other tools, assigned to the System Admin role, which are installed with other portal add-on capabilities, such knowledge management and collaboration.

Provides configuration tools for system landscape, user management, and display management.

This workset contains the following content:

Transport:
  

Provides the tools and services for importing and exporting content in transport packages, uploading content and actions using an XML script, uploading roles from ABAP-based systems, and content mirroring.

    4) Role Upload .

Monitoring:
  

Provides various monitoring tools for the portal.

This workset contains the following items:

Permissions:
  

Provides services for defining portal permissions and SAP authorizations.

This workset contains the following page and iView:

   1)  Portal Permissions.

   2)  SAP Authorizations.




System Landscape:
  

Provides configuration tools for the system landscape.




Federated Portal:
  

Provides tools for managing connections between your system and remote SAP NetWeaver and WSRP-compliant portals in a federated portal network (FPN).

This workset contains the following items:

    1) SAP NetWeaver - FPN Connections.

    2) Non-SAP - WSRP Connections.







Support:
  

Provides access to various configuration, testing, and browsing tools.
